Did you know that sometimes asteroids come really close to Earth, giving scientists a chance to study them up close? These space rocks, called Near-Earth Objects (NEOs), can come within millions of kilometers of our planet. In fact, some NEOs come so close that they’re even visible through telescopes from Earth!
